Bronnie Ware, who worked in a palliative care unit for many years, helping those people who were dying, compiled a list of the most common regrets by the people she cared for. The #1 regret was…I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself. Bronnie found out, when their life was almost over and they look back clearly on it, it became easy to see how many dreams and desires had gone unfilled. Most people had not honored even half of their dreams. That’s sad…and it doesn’t have to be that way.
Let’s change that to…living life without regrets as in the words of Frank Sinatra… “I lived life “My Way”. Over the next 8 weeks or so I invite you to join me in learning and practicing to live the life of your dreams. So…buckle your seat belts and get ready for the ride of your life!

The Law of Attraction, best known from the 2006 bestselling book “The Secret”, states that things of like vibrations are drawn to each other. Everything in the Universe is energy – and all energy gives off a vibration.
You attract what you are focusing on – your thoughts send out vibrations. Good attracts good, and well…bad attracts…you get the picture, right? So what we send out (those vibrations acting like little magnets attracting other like vibrations) comes back to us.
The Law of Attraction is always impartial, non-judgmental – and always says “yes” to whatever you are focusing on – and always sends you a match. So…if you are focusing on “all those bills you can’t pay”, guess what the Universe sends? Yup…”Here are more bills you can’t pay”. That’s why it’s is so important to keep positive thoughts and vibrations!
How do you know what you are sending out to the Universe? By the way you feel. Thoughts of desire feel good (happy, hopeful, joyful, enthusiastic), while thoughts of lack of desire, such as too many bills to pay…feel bad (stress, doubt, worry, frustration). How you feel tells you what vibrations you are sending out. You may try to mask your feelings by thinking “fake” happy thoughts, but your true feelings (what you feel in your gut), knows what is going out to the Universe.
A very important part of the Law of Attraction is feeling the ESSENCE of your desire. How will you feel once you have manifested your desire? We will talk about ESSENCE next week.
