Rampage of Appreciation

Last week we talked about the Law of Sufficiency and Abundance. The key to this law is to truly believe in an abundant Universe and to appreciate and be satisfied with what you already have while looking forward to more abundance

To increase the feeling of our satisfaction with our present lives so that we can add more abundance; let’s start appreciating our current condition more. I’d like to share with you a process called the Rampage of Appreciation.

This Abraham/Hicks process can be played anywhere and at any time because it is a game that is easily played simply by directing pleasant thoughts in your mind.

You begin by looking around your immediate area and gently noticing something that pleases you. Try to hold your attention on this pleasing object as you consider how wonderful, beautiful or useful it is. And as you focus upon it longer, your positive feelings about it will increase.

Now notice your improved feeling, and be appreciative of the way you feel. Then once your good feeling is noticeably stronger than when you began, look around and choose another pleasing object for your positive attention.

Make it your objective to choose objects of attention that easily evoke your appreciation, for this is not a process of finding something troubling and fixing it; this is a process of practicing the higher vibrations. The longer you focus upon things that feel good to you, the easier it is for you to feel good, feel satisfied and feel appreciative.

The more you find something to appreciate, the better it feels; the better it feels, the more you want to do it. Get the picture?

In this wonderful-feeling vibration where no resistance exists, you will be in an exaggerated state of allowing; you will be in the vibrational state where the things that you desire can flow easily into your experience.

For example: I am sitting at my desk and I have a photo of my family that we took on vacation last year. My Rampage of Appreciation might be…

  1. I love that photo
  2. We had such a great time on that vacation
  3. I love my family
  4. I love how happy we all look
  5. I am so grateful we can all be together so often

Get the idea? O.K…. Now it’s your turn. Start looking around the room for things to appreciate.

How did it go? Did you feel the momentum of good feeling and appreciation pick up? A point of caution here: If you attempt this game and you do not feel good, if you do not feel the momentum picking up as you focus upon one happy thought after another – that is, if the process annoys you in any way- then discontinue it immediately. This is because your vibration will turn negative, and then negative will come to you. This should be a happy and fun process and positive all the way!

Once you become familiar with looking for things to appreciate, you will find your day will be filled with them. Your thoughts and feelings of appreciation will flow from you naturally. And often while in the midst of a genuine feeling of appreciation you might even feel ripples of goose bumps – those sensations are confirming your alignment with your Source.

A desire to appreciate is a very good first step, and then as you find more things that you would like to say “Thank You” for, it quickly gains momentum. And as you appreciate it, you attract something more to appreciate, until in time, you are drawing more positivity to you!

Once you have made a decision that nothing is more important than that you feel good, and you have decided that you are going to consciously look for some things to appreciate today, the object of your attention has now become the feeling of appreciation. Now you have now established a circuit between you and that object of appreciation that the Law of Attraction will begin working on immediately, so that you will start seeing more things to appreciate right away. That’s something to look forward to, right?

Let’s try it one more time. What is in your immediate surroundings that you are appreciative of? I am looking right now at one of my collies that is lying next to me in my office. What are you looking at?

Try to schedule time to do your Rampage of Appreciation each and every day, just for a few minutes. You can practice whenever you have a few spare moments…like standing in line, waiting at a red light, picking your kids up from school while you are waiting in the car…anytime…what are your thankful for?
