Focus, Baby, Focus

In my 1/1/15 Happy Thoughts edition, I suggested you take a little time to take stock of your life in 2014 and move your attention to what you want to manifest in 2015. Were you able to write down your top 3 goals for 2015? If not, there’s still a lot of the year left…so now is a good time to write them down. It is never too late to set yourself up for success.

If you have already written down your goals…how is it going so far? Here is a most important tip! Once you know exactly what you want, the next step is to FOCUS, BABY, FOCUS.

As Christy Whitman mentioned in the quote above, you attract what you are focusing on. If you are focusing on feeling negative emotions…guess what you will attract? Right, negative! And that’s probably not what you wanted. Focus on your goals in as much of a positive emotion as you can. Focus on how great you will feel when your goal becomes a reality.

Remember: You can attract only those qualities you possess. If your goal is abundance – feel, really feel, what if feels like to be abundant. Focus on the feeling of freedom, security, having money in your pocket, being happy and content.   Ever hear the phrase “Fake It Till You Make It?” We are simply changing the “Fake It” to “Focus and feel it till you manifest it”.

The Law of Attraction always brings what you are focusing on – your focus and thoughts form the vibrations that you send out to the Universe. If you notice yourself focusing on something negative – (you will soon start to feel bad), switch that focus immediately to the positive and you will quickly start to feel better and be back on track to manifest your goals.

This switch from negative feelings to positive feelings is called “Pivoting. Just as in basketball, you pivot if you want to go in the opposite direction. In working with the Law of Attraction, you pivot when you feel your focus going in the wrong direction (going negative) and pivot to the positive, the sooner the better.

Your focus determines the vibration you send out to the Universe. What do you want yours to be?
