Change – we all have to deal with it. Sometimes we initiate change and sometimes change initiates itself. Either way, as Ester Hicks explains, in order for things to change, you have to see them as you want them to be rather than continuing to observe them as they are. By just observing, or being complacent, your attention/focus is on “what is”. We know that what we focus on, we bring to us, (The Law of Attraction). So by just focusing on our current situation, we can’t manifest the changes we desire.

In order to manifest your desired change, you need to accept your current situation (be O.K. where you are now) and refocus on where you want to be. With practice, you will change your point of attraction, and will experience a substantial change in your life.

Change can be a scary time. Things may not be great as they are…but who knows what the change may bring, right? We get “butterflies” in the stomach and may feel anxious while going through change.

Here’s a suggestion: My coach, Christy Whitman, shared with me a new way to look at change or really anything that causes you fear and discomfort. It is all a matter of perception. Instead of looking at change as fearful, try to look at it as an adventure. The feeling of excitement upon embarking on a new adventure often brings those “butterflies” and a little jittery feeling as well. Let’s change our perception to starting a new, exciting adventure and live life as Rumi says “Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor.”
